Martin Erinin

Martin joined the lab in the Spring 2013 semester as an undergrad. After receiving a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering he started as a Ph.D. student in the Fall 2014 semester. His research focus is on breaking waves.

Ren Liu

Ren Liu received his bachelor degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from the University of Maryland in 2008. He started as a graduate student in University of Maryland in the Fall of 2009. He is currently working on studying the surface features of raindrops impacting an Ocean surface.

Naeem Masnadi

Naeem Masnadi received his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University in 2008. He started as a graduate student in University of Maryland in the Fall of 2009 and joined the Hydrodynamics Lab in the summer of 2010. He is currently working on these projects: ship boundary layer simulator, free-surface Couette flow experiment, and gravity-capillary solitary waves in water.

An Wang

An received his bachelor degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2010. In the Fall of 2010, he became a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering of University of Maryland and joined the Hydrodynamics Laboratory. An is currently working on breaking wave impact on partially submerged structures, spray formation, and wave-structure interaction.

Nate Washuta

Nate received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2010. As an undergraduate he worked under Dr. Ken Kiger on an experimental facility to study sediment uplift during helicopter brownout. Nate joined the Hydrodynamics Lab in the summer of 2010 and is currently working on the following projects: ship boundary layer simulator, free-surface Couette flow experiment and surfactant concentration measurements of longitudinal interfacial waves.
